Aroma – Intense aromas of black and red berries, spiced scents as vanilla, clove and black pepper.
Some hints of mint appear together with toasted oak, smoke and cedarwood
Palate – Full body and a great balance between alcohol, elegant tannins and natural acidity. Long persistence in the mouth and aromas of spices, marmalade and black chocolate appears on the aftertaste.
Food Pairing – Excellent companion of beef, veal and lamb also goes along with roasted chicken, duck or goose preparations. Serving suggestions 18C to 20C.
Winemaking – Hand-picked grapes, cold pre fermentative macerations, and Alcoholic fermentation with controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Aging in French oak barrels for 12 months average, where malolactic fermentation is completed. Fully fined and filtered for an optimal result.
Soil Composition – Soils are primarily clay-loam, generally young, deep and marked by alluvial stones. Our Vineyards are planted in slopes, which allow them not only benefit from the afternoon sun exposure, but also enjoy of a very good drainage and therefore root aeration.
